In 1936, Harold A. Harris founded Harris Welding Works. Since then, the business has remained in the Harris family, owned and operated through four generations - never moved, never sold. Our store on Auburn Boulevard is still located where the original Harris Welding Works shop stood. Our success through several decades is attributed to our tradition of providing excellent and personal customer service for companies both large and small. Keeping tradition alive and well, we plan on being around as long as our indispensable services are needed. Today, Harris Industrial Gases is the largest independent provider of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, along with welding equipment and supplies, in the Greater Sacramento Area. Not only do we carry top-of-the-line and state-of-the-art welding equipment and supplies, we also deliver to many industrial, medical, and specialty gases to hundreds of businesses, both large and small, across this nine-county area of Northern California.
